The standardized use and daily maintenance of the crane lifting beam can increase its service life and reduce the occurrence of safety accidents. Therefore, the following are the precautions for the safe use and daily maintenance of lifting beam:

1. Pre-hoisting inspection

First, connect the crane hook with the lifting ring of the lifting beam. After lifting to an appropriate height, check whether the lifting beam is level and whether the chain is knotted.

2. Trial balance

After the crane is lifted, the balance of the lifting beam should be less than 1°, and observe whether the load-bearing beam is balanced. When the lifting beam is fully balanced, the lifting can be carried out.

3. Load lifting

The lifting process of the load test is the last process of the whole preparation. The loaded cargo should be lifted slowly. When it just leaves the ground, stop lifting, observe the overall stress, and then slowly relax the load. If there is no abnormality, it can be lifted normally.

Daily maintenance of crane lifting beam：

1. After use, the lifting beam must be placed on a special shelf and stored in a ventilated, dry and clean workshop.

2. The surface of the lifting beam of the crane should always be rust-proof, and should not be stored in acid, alkali, salt, chemical gas and humid environment

3. Do not store the hanging beam in a high temperature area.

4. Regularly clean the rotating parts and apply lubricating oil regularly to prevent dry friction and blockage.
